Each national industry entity is obliged to submit a motion to the National Official Business Register REGON (to get the identification number, to make changes in already existing description of entity features or to cross off its number in the register) accordingly to the current legal situation. The above motion should be submitted to a statistical office or to its branches in the voivodship, where the entity has its seat or where the owner of the entity has place of residence.
To register a new entity or to change the already existing features one should fill in form RG-1; to cross off the entity in the register fill in form RG-2. Entities are obliged to submit their motions within fourteen days from the moment of ensured circumstance with justifies submitting the motion (article 42, paragraph 4, Act of Laws of 29 June 1995 on public statistics; Journal of Laws No 88, item 439 with later amendments).
