Each entity of the national is obliged to submit a motion to the National Business Register REGON: to get the identification number, to make changes in already existing description of entity features or to cross its number off the register, accordingly to the current legal situation.
The above motion should be submitten to a statistical office or to its branch in the voivodship, where the entity has its seat.
To register a new entity or to change the already existing features one should fill in form RG-1; to cross the entity off in the register fill in form RG-2. Entities are obliged to submit their motions within fourteen days from the moment of ensured circumstance which justifies submitting the motion (article 42, paragraph 4, Act of Laws of 29 June 1995 on public statistics;
