AGRICULTURAL CENSUS 2010 will be conducted from 1 September to 31 October 2010 as at 30 June 2010, at. 24:00

NATIONAL CENSUS OF PEOPLE AND DWELLINGS 2011 will be conducted from the 1^st April to 30^th June 2011 as the first Census realized after Poland’s accession to the European Union. It will be conducted in the similar time and range of topics like in other EU member countries.

THE NATIONAL CENSUS and AGRICULTURAL CENSUS will be carried out in a mixed methods:

self-registration relying on completion and confirming information acquired from information systems (CAII)
telephone interview supported by computer program, conducted by an enumerator (CATI)
interview registered in mobile electronic appliance, conducted by an enumerator (CAPI).

In the 1^st quarter of 2010 seasonally adjusted GDP (constant prices, reference year 2000) was 0.5% higher than in the fourth quarter of 2009 and 2.8 % higher than in 1^st quarter of the previous year.
