Price index of investment goods shows changes in prices of investment goods (fixed assets) in the surveyed quarter in relation to their prices in the previous quarter

It is calculated on the basis of conducted by the CSO surveys of the prices of producers of:

- goods and services, taking into consideration representation of fixed assets in range of machinery, technical equipment and transport equipment,

- construction and assembly works and construction objects, taking into consideration representation for buildings and structures.

Resulting from the survey price indices for particular types of fixed assets aggregated into groups of fixed assets concerning buildings and structures, machinery, technical equipment and transport equipment are then weighted by using weight i.e. gross value of fixed assets in state enterprises for corresponding groups.
