Summary:
This publication contains information about total production volume and sold production value of products and aggregations classified in accordance with Polish Classification Of Products and Services PKWiU. Data are received from all units with 10 or more employees, regardless of registered main economical activity type.
Total production volume data cover total production of final products manufactured by enterprises in reference year, from its own or supplied raw materials, intended for sale as well as for further processing in the same enterprise (internal consumption for production purposes). Sold production is a value of incomes from annual sale of final products from own or subcontracted production, regardless of manufacturing date.
Table 1 shows data of total production in Poland in year 2000 and 2004-2006, for over 600 products or fairly homogenous groups of products. Table 2 presents sold production value data in 2004 and 2005 at current prices (without VAT), by divisions, groups and classes of PKWiU,.registered by products. Table 3 presents data on structure of sold production in 2004 – 2006.
According to Polish Statistical Law (Ustawa o statystyce publicznej z dn. 29 czerwca 1995r. , Dz. U. Nr 88, art. 38.1, z dn. 31 lipca 1995r.) some data in tables 2 and 3 are confidential. This occurs when the production data are received from less than 3 producers, or one of the producers is a “dominant” with 75% or more of national production. Moreover, in some cases the non-confidential data are not published in order not to reveal confidential data (“remainder confidentiality”).
In some cases, because of electronic data processing system, a sum of sub-aggregations may differ from the figure at higher level of aggregation.
