Price of one square meter of usable floor space of a residential building in the fourth quarter of 2011 was PLN 3829.

Price index of construction and assembly production in the fourth quarter of 2011 have increased by 0.3%, as compared to the third quarter of 2011.

According to the preliminary data sold production of industry in constant prices (in enterprises employing more than 9 persons) in January of 2012 was by 9.0% higher than in the previous year, but lower by 5.1% than in December of 2011. After eliminating the seasonal factors, sold production of industry reached the level higher by 9.1% than in the corresponding month of the previous year and by 0.4% higher than in December of 2011.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in January of 2012 were by 0.2% higher than in the previous month. The increase of prices was recorded in sections: mining and quarrying,  water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (by 1.7% each) as well as  in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (by 1.2%). Prices in manufacturing dropped of 0.1%, of which in manufacture of basic metals (of 1.4%).

Average monthly wage and salary in national economy diminished by obligatory social insurance taxes (towards disability and retirement pension and sickness benefit) paid by the insured person in 2011 was PLN 2974,69 and second half-year 2011 was PLN 3075,27

Prices of agricultural products in January 2012

According to preliminary data, 11622 dwellings were completed in January of 2012, i.e. by 13% more than a year before, while in comparison with January of 2010 this indicates a drop by 9.1%. In January of 2012, 10641 building permits were issued, i.e. by 10.7% more than in January of 2011. The number of dwellings started also grew – to 6728, i.e. by 7.7%.
