According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in 2011 with relation to previous year grew by 7.6%. The highest growth of prices was recorded in mining and quarrying (by 16.8%). The increase of prices was recorded in manufacturing (by 7.5%), in section water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (by 5.5%) as well as in section electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (by 3.5%).
It is estimated that in December of 2011 the prices of sold production of industry were by 8.1% higher than in the previous year. The highest growth of prices was recorded in manufacturing (by 8.9%), of which the biggest in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (by 28.7%). Higher than in December of previous year were also prices among other things in manufacture of basic metals (by 12.2%), of chemicals and chemical products (by 10.3%), of rubber and plastic products (by 10.2%), of food products (by 10.1%), of products of wood, cork, straw and wicker (by 8.7%), of paper and paper products (by 7.7%), of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (by 7.4%). of other transport equipment (by 5.9%), of machinery and equipment, of other non-metallic mineral products (by 5.8% each), of metal products (by 5.7%), of leather and related products (by 5.3%), of pharmaceutical products (by 4.7%), of textiles (by 4.6%), of furniture (by 2.6%), of electrical equipment (by 2.3%), wearing apparel (by 2.1%), of beverages (by 0.9%) as well as of computer, electronic and optical products (by 0.8%)
The prices in mining and quarrying raised by 5.8%, of which in mining of coal and lignite (by 12.5%), however in mining of metal ores was recorded drop (of 2.4%). The growth was recorded in section water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (by 4.6%) and in section electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (by 2.8%).
It is estimated that the prices of construction and assembly production in 2011 were by1.0% higher than in the previous year (in comparison with drop of 0.1% in 2010). The growth prices was recorded in the prices in specialised construction (by 1.3%), in civil engineering (by 1.1%) as well as in construction of buildings (by 0.9%).
