According to the preliminary data sold production of industry in constant prices (in enterprises employing more than 9 persons) in December 2011 was by 7.7% higher than in the corresponding month of the previous year, but lower by 4.9% than in November 2011. After eliminating the seasonal factors, sold production of industry reached the level higher by 9.5% than in the corresponding month of 2010 and by 0.9% than in November 2011.
As compared to December 2010, an increase in sold production was reported in 26 (out of 34) industry divisions, among others, in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products – by 26.3%, manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products – by 24.7%, manufacture of furniture – by 22.9%, manufacture of metal products – by 15.5%, manufacture of chemicals and chemical products – by 13.0% and manufacture of paper and paper products – by 11.7%. A drop in sold production of industry, as compared to December 2010, was recorded in 8 divisions, among others, in manufacture of pharmaceutical products – by 14.4%, manufacture of machinery and equipment – by 4.3% and manufacture of wearing apparel– by 2.6%.
In the period January-December 2011 sold production of industry was by 7.7% higher than in the corresponding period of 2010.
